One of many gifts for children aged within the classifications of infant to early childhood are potentially birthday cards, paper tokens of remembrance with poetic phrases and/or puns indicating good wishes for the reader of said card on the anniversary of their birth. Unlike cards meant for adults, children’s cards are typically cartoon-ish and depict an animal or corporate mascot alongside the words written inside. In advertising, skincare commercials/ads are marketed print visuals and/or visual-audio videos created by the beauty/skincare industry that sell acne reduction or removal products. These commercials/ads work to target insecure acne-prone teenagers or adults (usually women) and trick them into believing their skin must look flawless in order to be considered “beautiful.” Basically, it’s selling a specific idea of “beauty” created by this society which is being absolutely flawless. An analogy of this would be make-up commercials/ads. These commercials/ads are similar to make-up ads, considering make-up ads also are selling an idea of beauty and how flaws should be covered up. Similarly, skincare/ads are selling the idea that flaws should be decreased or avoided from appearing on the skin. [...]

Within the world of corporate business, business jargon is a specialized language that is internally and externally used by corporations with the intention of acquiring a specific response by the recipients. Business jargon is typically used to soften bad news, sound more professional, and hide corruption. For example, “Our company has decided to begin restructuring and optimizing our capital location” sounds more professional and soften the bad news more than simply saying “we are firing you”. Sentence: In the south people use breakfast food to create a saying that tells people to mind their own business because someone is being too nosy; the saying combines a moral concept taught in southern homes with the southern traditional foods of biscuits and gravy.

Sentence: When you picture a teacup you think that the content inside is tea but in the southern sayings that uses a teacup and whiskey we are talking about the strength of a woman, she is wild and yet still acts like a lady and upholds morals; women of the south are strong willed and can still hold an image of looking pretty despite being viewed as a damsel in distress and needing help with everything southern women can also be strong and tough.
