Hipsters are heckled for being outside of the norm, however this outsider nature gives the group a fresh look on\u00a0sensitive topics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hipsters Revitalize The Economy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generating small businesses which specialize in authenticity or local products<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring third world workers aren&#8217;t exploited (Fair Trade)<\/li>\n<li>Variety of interests that are constantly in flux, adding variety to the market. (IPA&#8217;s and Craft Beers)\n<ul>\n<li>Gives less power to large businesses who capitalize on consumer reliability.<\/li>\n<li>They love trying mom and pop brands or the brands that no one else is willing to try.<\/li>\n<li>Hipster\u00a0account for many of the new trends we see in hobbies, drinks and food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hipsters\u00a0Build Community<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hipsters build Co-op farms to stress sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Creating a network of local people who learn valuable gardening skills and socialize<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to non-profit volunteering.<\/li>\n<li>Focusing on strong atmospheres\u00a0to give people a place to relax and be themselves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Environmental Policies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adopting policies to minimize environmental footprints\n<ul>\n<li>Using no\u00a0fertilizers or pesticides<\/li>\n<li>Minimizing water use to promote clean water sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Transportation via Bicycle reduces gas consumption<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Waste not\/want not\n<ul>\n<li>Hipsters believe in the practice of using all of the animal.<\/li>\n<li>Hipsters do not believe in letting produce be thrown away.\n<ul>\n<li>All of the produce is used\/eaten\/donated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Making products by hand with local products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hipsters contribute vital values to the community and the economy. Their interests in\u00a0culture, create\u00a0a healthy, and only slightly strange, atmosphere in communities. The group can seem condescending and exclusive to many, yet their beliefs appear altruistic.
